Three statistics from the audience data suggest: a high percentage of GQ readers are ABC1, suggesting the audience is wealthy and has disposable income, many readers are interested in fashion and grooming, suggesting they value appearance and lifestyle, a large number of readers engage with GQ online, suggesting the audience uses digital media as well as print.

4) Look at page 3 - brand highlights. What special editions do GQ run and what do these suggest about the GQ audience?

GQ runs special editions such as Men of the Year, The Style Issue and The New Masculinity Issue. These suggest the audience is interested in celebrities, fashion, culture and changing ideas about identity.

5) Still on page 3, what does the video and social series section suggest about how magazine audiences are changing? 

The video and social series section suggests magazine audiences are moving from only reading print to consuming content across websites, social media and video platforms. GQ is adapting to reach audiences through multiple media formats.

2) How is the magazine constructed to serve the target audience?
