1) Audience members of violent video games tend to develop more violent behaviour in real life.
2) This shows how addiction to video games can cause real life impacts to you and how you behave.
3) I believe more older people tend to believe what they see in the media, however more younger and middle aged people may not always believe what they see in the media
Two-step flow model:
1) When opinion leaders create messages towards the audience. Opinion leaders are influential people who have impacts on the behaviours of others.
2) Taylor swift is an opinion leader.
3) Yes because there are social media influencers online who are a part of peoples decisions.
Uses and gratifications theory:
Diversion: Film - Blinded By The Light. Entertaining and offering escapism for fans of Bruce Springsteen or anyone that enjoys coming of age films or culture-clash comedies.
Personal Relationships: disconnect - shows how people deal with online bullying
Personal Identity: top boy - shows how different races can be portrayed and interpreted differently. shows stereotypes.
Surveillance: life on our planet - audience can learn new things
Dependency theory:
1) Yes because audience members are always looking online for the news, mostly believing it.
2) this has increased dependency because more people just wait for news to come to them online.
3) negative impact because people spend too much time on social media comparing themselves to other people.
